Zdeno Chara and Brad Marchand on the trading block?

Comcast Sportsnet’s reporter Joe Haggerty stated that the Boston Bruins might put defenseman Zdeno Chara and forward Brad Marchand on the trading block if the team doesn’t improve on their poor start of the season. Chara has two years left of his current contract, which include a no-movement clause. Marchand has a modified no-movement clause, with one year remaining of his deal.

It is of course to early to speculate that the Bruins will trade core players, but many believe the team needs to do some kind of rebuild, and if so Chara and Marchand could give valuable pieces going forward.
