2014 NHL Draft Rankings – August

Here on IceHockeyRumors.com you can see our rankings of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. We will publish new rankings throughout the year and of course things can change and players will rise or fall depending on their performance. The draft will be held June 27-28 at WellsFargoCenter in Philadelphia.

This is our first ranking with almost one year to the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and as number one we have Canadian centre Sam Reinhart who played last season for Kootenay in the WHL. He has a complete game and can do it all. As number two we have skilled Swedish forward William Nylander-Altelius. You might recognize his name because he is the son of former NHLer Michael Nylander. The first defenseman Aaron Ekblad comes in as number three. Ekblad might be ready for the NHL already next season and was awarded exceptional status two year ago, at the OHL draft, meaning he could be drafted as a 15-year-old one year before others. Nick Ritchie is a skilled forward who can score and has a complete game, he is a player every coach loves to have on his team. The first goaltender is the Finnish player Kaapo Kahkonen who plays for Blues in his home country.
